The owner of this house stressed the importance of a well insulated building to maximize his high efficiency air conditioning system. We used foil backed plywood roof sheathing to reduce radiant heat loads. Combined with insulated glass windows, masonry walls, and even the garage door, the owner has been able to minimize his monthly electrical costs.
