Meet the EcoBuild Team

Eric Brown, LEED AP | President

With nine years of construction experience in Central Florida, Eric has worked on a range of different construction projects as a Project Engineer and Project Manager, including the Pop Century hotel at Walt Disney World, Orange County middle and elementary schools, the Seaside Music Theater in Daytona Beach, and the $91 million Reunion Grande Condo/Hotel in Reunion, FL. He is a Certified General Contractor with Construction Management and Residential Construction experience. Eric is a graduate of the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida, and has a passion for discovering and incorporating environmentally responsible construction practices into each of his future projects.

Andrew Albu, LEED AP | Vice President of Construction

Andrew has more than six years experience in the commercial construction industry. He has held roles in pre-construction services and estimating and has worked as a field foreman, superintendent, safety manager, project engineer and project manager. Andrew is a LEED® Accredited Professional and licensed real estate agent; he has completed the Leadership Orlando program, OSHA Construction Outreach trainer, and has prior job experience with SPACEHAB for NASA - ISS Data Integration Project Manager. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Florida.

Larry Brown | Vice President of Design

Larry is a 1976 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Architecture. His architectural projects range from single family to custom homes of all sizes as well as hotel and timeshare properties. Larry also has experience designing commercial projects such as restaurants, offices, warehouses, clubhouses, community centers and mixed use commercial projects. He has received numerous awards for his designs and has served as a speaker at the SEBC and has exhibited at the NAHB national convention. Larry has also designed multiple homes in various Central Florida communities such as Isleworth, Alaqua, and Baldwin Park.
